I'm a senior data scientist and ML engineer at a fintech lender in Auckland — building production data and AI systems for risk decisioning and credit infrastructure.

Outside of work, I build and ship AI agents for my own use and for small commercial experiments. I write about what I learn doing both.

What I write about here

AI agent infrastructure — MCP, context engineering, retrieval, and orchestration at production scale.

The goal is to share what I've learned shipping multiple production AI agents on small, self-hosted infrastructure — the trade-offs, the decisions, the mistakes worth avoiding. Production-grounded, not theoretical.

• 12 years in data science and ML across banking, fintech, and NZ Police.
